Vector Lights is honouring Matariki with a dedicated light and sound show created by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. The show responds to the theme 'Matariki Herenga Waka - For Everyone'.
The dynamic light and sound show will play every night, 4-19 July from 6pm until midnight, every 15 minutes.
Some of your favourite viewing locations include Little Shoal Bay, Westhaven Marina and Maungawhau Mt Eden. You can also listen to the soundtrack live on the Vector website.
Be at Silo Park on Saturday 4 July, 4-8pm as the iconic Vector Lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge illuminate for Matariki Festival 2026. Enjoy an evening of music, storytelling and family friendly activities, all set against the waterfront at Matariki Taimoana.
Vector Lights is part of a smart energy partnership between Vector, Auckland Council and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi.
