This intimate event (max. 60 guests) will showcase indigenous storytelling and cinematic expression, with opportunities to connect with the filmmakers where possible. Kaituku mātauranga, Natanahira Pona, will be exhibiting in the gallery during Matariki and contributing to the screenings, adding a powerful visual and cultural dimension.

This event reflects the themes of Matariki whakapapa, remembrance and renewal through the lens of indigenous film and art.
