This Matariki, visit the Māpura Studios exhibition Wishing Upon A Star. The title is inspired by Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the youngest of Matariki’s children, considered to be the ‘wishing star’. Māpura artists have come together to remember the past, celebrate the present and dream about the future. The works will be installed at Alberton, an historic homestead in the heart of Mt Albert.
