
Toi ki te Pāka – Art in the Park
Experience Toi ki te Pāka, an art exhibition created by West Auckland kura / schools alongside in conjunction with Te Kawerau ā Maki / Waitākere City. Artworks by tamariki and rangatahi / children and youth will showcase what “Matariki means to me”. These are being at exhibited at Arataki Visitor Centre and te taiao, the open environment, at Rānui Domain and Henderson Park.
We invite our kura, whānau and community to celebrate Matariki in te taiao while enjoying the amazing Toi ki te Pāka creations from our kura. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for a ‘people’s choice award’ at each exhibition.
