One Billion Stars to End Violence
Come visit the Homestead Galleries through the Matariki season and weave a star to add to the One Billion Stars project. One Billion Stars is a global star-weaving movement built on community resilience and healing. The woven stars are symbols of courage, hope and working together in solidarity to help end all forms of violence, especially violence against women. All stars woven with us will be collected and sent to co-founder Maryann Talia Pau to be included in future One Billion Stars installations.
