Matariki Artists Hui
A public talk by artists Janine Williams and Graham Tipene in which they share the narratives behind their large-scale public artworks in the Wynyard Quarter. Janine and Graeme will discuss the process of developing their work, the connection between their work and wider narratives, and the unique challenges presented by working at an urban scale. The presentation will touch on the design environment in Aotearoa / New Zealand and how processes of whakawhanaungatanga inform unique and world-leading outcomes.
