Matariki on the Move: Waiata

Enjoy the vocal talents of some amazing Māori and Pacific artists in celebration of Matariki. Let the dulcet tones of singer-songwriters HINA, Jhasmyne-Leigh and Makaira Berry bring music to your ears. And you won’t want to miss festival favourites, RnR Music, who will have you singing along in no time. You can also enjoy dynamic kapa haka performances as part of Te Taumata Kapa Haka, happening at 12:15pm and 1:15pm each day. There's hāngī lunch available to purchase from 23-25 June, with Hāngī Master Rewi Spraggon serving up steaming hot kai from his hāngī pit. The perfect opportunity for fans of waiata, kai and kapa haka to come together and join the festivities!
