Māori Moving Image ki Te Uru

Te Uru presents a new iteration of the successful Māori Moving Image project, looking at the archives as a consideration for Māori artists making film and video works. Curators Bridget Reweti (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi) and Melanie Oliver bring together new commissions from Ōtautahi-based artist Nathan Pōhio (Waitaha, Kāti Māmoe, Kāi Tahu), Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based artist Ana Iti (Te Rarawa) and Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist Jeremy Leatinu'u (Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Hāmoa). Visitors can also view a small archive, sitting alongside the exhibition.
