Ngā Waiata o te Pō

Gather up the whānau and join us on a mid-winter journey as we weave together strands of myth, music, song and storytelling into a magical, interactive online experience for the entire family. This unique musical experience is a meeting place between Western classical music and traditional Māori music – a space to reflect on who we are and where we stand as New Zealanders in Aotearoa in 2020.
Don't miss episode one, Matariki, as four friends head off on an adventure into the forest on a camping trip, with the hope of being able to see the Matariki star cluster in the night sky. Discover music built from the sounds of nature; the whistling of the wind, birdsong and water running over rocks in the stream.
