He Wāhi Ātaahua a Aotearoa

Warkworth-based artist Ramari Tauroa-Tibble's solo exhibition is inspired by seascapes from around the Rodney area, with a selection of paintings using the koru and other Māori symbols. They are inspired by love, as well as a need to start looking after our families, the planet and all living creatures. Tauroa-Tibble’s creative work started later in life, by designing and making her own concrete garden sculptures. Her passion stems from the beauty she sees around her, including landscapes, sea and beach scenes. Her life experiences, whether joy or sadness, are also incorporated in each painting.
