Matariki Music Night brings celebrated Maori talent together to perform in West Auckland.
Matariki Music Night is an evening of music, wine and food, celebrating the ancient sounds of old and contemporary Aotearoa through a selection of outstanding New Zealand Maori talent.
On Saturday 18th July, from 6.30pm Tama Waipara and the Requirements, Maisy Rika, DJ Exile and VJ ATI, plus others, are leading the evening through a delicious line up of Maori music and performance, and want to share it with you.

| 6.30pm | OPENING | MIXED MEDIA VJ ATI AND DJ EXILE Mixed Media VJ Ati is artistic director and member of the Agent Guerrilla Media, currently running events such as Aroha Supreme, PiƱata, Jambalaya and Taupo Arts Festival in NZ. DJ Exile is an Auckland-based DJ, producer and regular show host on 95bFM and KFM. |

| ACT ONE | OPENING CEREMONY: TOROTORO Horo Horomana - Horo Horomana was a student to Hirini Melborne and plays internationally with Moana and the Tribe as well as nationally as a Taonga Puoro musician. He is currently touring with the Tribe. Mahina Kaui - is a Songwriter and vocalist , she is currently on tour with Big Belly Woman, a group of women who have both a love of music and a commitment to change. Mahina was also part of Pacific Curls and toured with Hone Tuwhare in 2004. |

| 8.00pm | ACT TWO | MAISEY RIKA The latest popular Maori songwriter and vocalist in te reo Maori and English, she gives the listener a taste of her gentle yet majestic voice that captivates audiences worldwide. Maisey is currently touring and appearing on TV with her hit The Children of Romania. |
