With a special activity booklet, visitors can learn about Matariki at Auckland Zoo. Be inspired by nocturnal and crepuscular (active during twilight) creatures that come alive at night, and learn more about their stories. Then visit the Domes to further explore Matariki, the animals and our fantastic digital installation. Celebrating Matariki at Auckland Zoo is part of Elemental AKL.
