About the event


This cultural day hosted, by the Glenfield Community Centre, will feature a series of Maori cultural workshops to celebrate Matariki.  The day will start with a Powhiri and a korero about Matariki.  Participants will then be split into groups and rotated around four different workshops: harakeke flax weaving, poi making, hand games and Maori story telling.
