Te Mata o Rehua Weavers

Twelve Pacific Island weavers will create woven art pieces, based on tohu from maramataka Māori, during a week-long workshop at Te Haa o Manukau. The final art pieces will be on display at the Te Mata o Rehua Market, taking place in the Manukau Civic Square (weather dependent). Following on from the 2018 project with rock carvers, this year our Pacific weavers will create artworks around the theme of Matariki.
