Rongoā Māori with Emma Haslam

This workshop will provide a look at the world of rongoā rākau, traditional Māori plant medicine. Join us to look at native plants and discuss key ideas and processes of rongoā Māori. Taste-test a remedy and make your own balm, as Matariki ushers in the colder months. Emma Haslam (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Hauā) has worked supporting Donna Kerridge in her Rongoā Māori practice and trained with prominent rongoā Māori experts Rob McGowan and Atarangi Muru. She is highly skilled in the arts of karakia, Māori bodywork and plant medicines.
