Nau mai ki te wā whakanui i a Matariki – Welcome to Matariki ki Papakura. Artists will demonstrate whakairo (carving), tā moko (skin art), raranga (weaving), taonga puoro (Māori musical instruments) and uku (pottery). There will also be performances by local schools. Now in its fifth year, this event is proudly supported by the Papakura Local Board.
